On Monday, Intuit will announce that QuickBooks Simple Start Edition 2008 will be available free. The previous version of the software cost U.S.$99.95. This will kick off a major marketing campaign "Just Start," which features a $50,000 grand prize to help someone start a business. The software can be downloaded free at www.IWillJustStart.com. No official word yet whether Intuit Canada will follow suit for the equivalent product (EasyStart), When replying, please remove {_Spam_Me_Not_} from the email address.
