I am doing a evaluation of QB vs Peachtree to see which I want to use.
A friend give me a QB 2005 disk to use. ( she purchased QB 2007 and is using
that )
I have the License no. and the Product code.
She cannot remember her Validation Code.
When I called QB and asked if I could get one ( If I like QB I am going to
purchase QB 2007 )
She told me I could not get a code.
Anyone got any ideas on how to obtain one.
If I can't I will use Peachtree and forget QB.
Thanks

I would get the Quickbooks 2007 trial edition, and not even mess with the
2005 edition. It is far different than the 2007 version.

Since your friend was the registered user of the software, it may be
possible for her to obtain the validation code.

Last I saw, Peachtree also charged for their software.
