I have 2 issues with Peachtree 2008 (Complete): I am uncomfortable
with the business status displaying for all employees who only need to
enter sales orders. I can find no way to deactivate this feature
through user security.
Also, in previous versions, customized invoices, sales orders, etc
displayed alphabetically so that by controlling the name, I could
control which form appeared first in the list (i.e. became the
"default" form). This does not appear to work in 2008.
Any advice?

You can hide the Business Status screen, but then it's only a click to turn
it back on.
So the answer is, through user security, do not provide access to say for
example, GL, AP and other modules. Then that info will not come through on
the Business Status screen.

Diane:
Thanks for your help. We use the Sales Order as our "job ticket" to
track/create new jobs. So by virtue of allowing users to create these,
they get access to ALL sales data, right?
