When I use one step update, I get an error message that the server was not responding. I've tried downloading from the portfolio window and it simply does not update. If I try several times, it sometimes will update, but it may take 20 attempts. Any suggestions? Well known and documented problem. Quicken has ignored it for some years, but has finally promised a rework by August of their servers. Look in the archives of this group, or go to Quicken's site and search there. I, and others, have rarely had any trouble downloading quotes. And when we fail to get current quotes in one download, we get them not long later. As you have said: Intuit has acknowledged a problem with their quote downloads and predicted to fix that problem sometime around August 2008.
