Hello all,

Iıve used Quicken for Mac for 10 years, and Iıve had very few
issues/problems with the software. I have the latest Quicken 2007 update
installed on my original ³Snowball² iMac, which is running OS 10.4.11.
Right now Iım having trouble getting historical prices on three ETFıS that
Iıve added to the ³watch list² in my portfolio. Two of the ETFıs are iPath
funds (I canıt remember their symbols right now), the other is a SPDR Gold
Fund (GLD).

I am able to get regular price updates when I access Quicken Quotes, but Iıd
like to get whatever historical prices are available on these ETFıs. Since
there isnıt an ³ETF² category in the quote setup window, Iıve tried setting
up these fund both as mutual funds and as stocks‹and it doesnıt matter‹the
historical prices for these three ETFıs fail to load.

Has anyone else using Quicken for Mac had this problem? What workaround was
successful for you? Like I said, the daily prices do update properly, itıs
just that I canıt seem to get historical prices on these ETFıs, even for the
past month or quarter.

Thanks,

Jean in VA

I had a similar problem on the Windows version of Quicken with FXE, the
Euro Currency. The history data just would not download.

I downloaded the price history as a CSV file from Yahoo,
(http://finance.yahoo.com). I edited the file in "OpenOffice.org Calc"
which is similar to Excel. I then imported the history from the
resulting file into Quicken.

It only took a few minutes total.
